I had always been interested in photography for as long as I can remember. Even as a small child when I wanted to be in the NBA I still wanted a camera. Although my dreams of playing basket ball have since faded, my passion for photography has grown stronger. Later, I realized, I actually pretty good (or so people tell me.) I thrive on criticism, and I have a background as an artist. Learning new things in the field and refining older techniques are a constant for me. Never have I ever been in a comfort zone.
"There is no growing in the comfort zone, and there is no comfort in the growing zone"
-Ty Bennett
I have kept that philosophy with me throughout my experience as a photographer, but it was not until recently I found that quote.
Through all my efforts and trials as a photographer, I still have an end in mind, and that is to be a photographer and journalist for the National Geographic. To best improve my skills and work tactics as a journalist I intend to make this my main occupation until being a renowned journalist.
